Roman Fecik Gallery
Art for Collectors
The Roman Fecik Gallery is focused on modern and contemporary art. Its main purpose is to evoke a spirit of private art collecting and sponsorship in Slovakia. The gallery aims to assist veteran art collectors who want to enhance their collections but also help amateurs start their new collections.
Thanks to local commercial sponsorship, the Roman Fecik Gallery is a non-profit organization. The financial proceeds go to individual and collective exhibitions. In addition, art publications, education scholarships, research in order to stress the importance of modern and contemporary Slovak art. The association was founded and established in 1997 to promote local artists in Slovakia
There are many notable Slovak artists in this collection that include works by Jozef Jankovič, Rudolf Sikora, Monogramista T.D, Milan Dobeš, Rudolf Fila, Alex Mlynárčik, Jozef Srna, Julián Filo, Miloš Šimurda, Albín Brunovský, Vladimír Gažovič, Ľudovít Fulla, Veronika Rónaiová, Martin Sedlák, Jarmila Džuppová and many others.
We are located in the historical city centre of Bratislava on Zamocnicka 8. The ground level maintains an art library for our collectors, artists, art historians in their further education and research. The second level is an open gallery space that provides an intimate setting for private viewings and art exhibitions.
