(* 1951, Kremnica)
graphic artist, painter, illustrator, teacher
1966 - 1970 studied at the Secondary School of Art Industry in Bratislava
1970 - 1976 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Free Graphics and Book Illustration (Prof. O. Dubay)
The author deals with painting, drawing, graphic art, illustration, action art and her work is mostly directed to hyperrealism (or photorealism). She is interested in the reality recorded through the camera, ie the time lapse of the flowing story, which has benefited the Slovak art and especially the painting. However, it enriches its program with its own intimate testimony, which is increasingly increasing. She explores her own work introspectively, tells her own life, but also responds to the consumer-media aspects of contemporary society.
The painting combines with other media such as drawing, ready-made, PC print, collage. She sometimes uses the already used canvases as a basis, from which she made the series of interventions directly to the works of her own father the most. We also see an individual approach to conceptual and action art. In 1978 she received a Ľ. Fulla. She was a founding member of the Indivisual Group (1999). At present, he leads the studio of painting at the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education in Trnava. Her works are part of private collections, but also collections of institutions such as the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava, the National Gallery in Prague, the City Gallery of Bratislava, the Ján Koniarek Gallery in Trnava, the Považská Gallery of Art in Žilina, and the East Slovak Gallery in Košice.
